Millennium Clock Tower

The Millennium Clock Tower at the National Museum of Scotland doesn’t so much tell the time as “commemorate the human suffering of the twentieth century, embodied and entrapped within the endless prisons of time.” Created by a team from Sharmanka, the kinetic theatre in Glasgow, the clock springs into action several times a day to a backdrop of thundering organ music.
