Homecoming Scotland

This year Scotland has been celebrating the Year of Homecoming. The National Museum of Scotland has been contributing to this through a series of events, culminating this weekend to mark St Andrew’s Day. Over the two days, there was a treasure hunt for families, several musical performances - including the National Youth Jazz Orchestra - and the SnapScot photo challenge, which asked people ‘What inspires you about Scotland?’. Visitors were able to take part in the challenge either at the museum itself, or via Flickr.
